The sweet bacteria of yoghurt
INTRODUCTION
How many yogurts do you eat every day? What flavors? Do you know what yogurt is made from? Well, it’s easier than you think. You can make it yourself at home.
WHAT DO WE NEED?
- Cow’s milk.
- 1 natural yoghurt
- Yoghurt maker or a pot
- Glass containers
STEP BY STEP
- Place a spoonful of yoghurt in each glass container.
- Add the milk (without heating) until it covers the can and beat it with the spoon.
- If you like sweetened yoghurt, add as much sugar as you like before beating.

4º Put the containers in the yogurt pot and leave them there for 8-9 hours (for example one night).

- If you don’t have yogurt containers, put some water in a wide pot and put the containers in the bain-marie to warm up.
6º Heat over a very small flame (1) and for a long time until they set.
If you want to make nice and sweet yoghurts put the colour on with the jam.
To do this, first put the jam in the containers and then fill them separately with the mixed yoghurt and milk. It’s great with honey too!
WHAT HAPPENED?
Bacteria are living beings like us and like us they have to eat to live.
